Wellington Waterfront Ltd (WWL) has appointed Ian Pike as its new Chief Executive.

For the past 15 months, Ian has been the Commercial Manager for the company, leading its Development Project Team, and has demonstrated a commitment to the principles and objectives of the Wellington Waterfront Framework, especially that it remain “a place for people”.  

Formerly of AMP Capital Investors, Ian was employed most recently as AMP’s Relationship Manager, and has had a wide-ranging and successful career in property acquisitions and management.  Ian is also the current Vice-President of the Wellington branch of the Property Council of New Zealand.

“We are delighted that Ian has accepted the role and know he will provide strong leadership in the delivery of the remaining development of Wellington’s waterfront,” says Wellington Waterfront Chair Fran Wilde.  

Mr Pike’s appointment takes effect from 1 June 2005.
